Titletown Winter Games

Due to some the warmer temperature occurring throughout the state, we have made some modifications regarding the Titletown Winter Games presented by U.S. Venture this year to accommodate for lack of snow without calling off the overall experience. Please see all the details below.

 

Titletown will transform into a winter sports wonderland on Feb. 17 ONLY for the Titletown Winter Games presented by U.S. Venture. This FREE event will offer community members the chance to experience the thrill of luge, curling, biathlon with cross-country skiing and speedskating​

 

Schedule

  • Saturday, Feb. 17: 12-7 p.m.

Activity Overview

  • Luge Challenge with USA luge
  • Learn to Curl with USA Curling
  • Interactive Biathlon Experience with US Biathlon and US Ski & Snowboard – Central Cross Country Skiing
  • Speedskating with US Speedskating

Event Notes 

Titletown and U.S. Venture will also welcome special guests for the event which so far include: four-time Olympian, six-time Medalist, five-time Olympic Gold Medalist Bonnie Blair for US Speedskating, three-time Olympian and 1998 Olympic silver medalist Gordy Sheer for USA Luge. Team USA Curling members from 2024 U28 National Silver Medalists Team Guentzel- Will Podhradsky, Mason Guentzel and Stewart Strack- will also be in attendance.

Hy-Vee Plaza skating start time will adjust to that of the games + will remain open to the public at the normal hours of operation. Admission rates will apply throughout the weekend.
